maybe will should be more suspicious of why heather's calling him of all people. especially when she's got her nice new boyfriend that he knows she moved in with. the guy who, despite how heather offhandedly mentions what a great guy he is, makes will's skin crawl just from seeing the dude with his arm around her once. but -- why question it? why act awkward and stilted like he expected a phone call between them to go? the fact that she chose will to call, above all else, means that maybe... just maybe, she lies awake at night sometimes and still thinks about him. if that isn't the biggest sign of hope he's ever received... )
